Laura and Dan got married at my favourite venue, Rockbeare Manor, which helped inspire the style of their wedding! With so many ideas and weddings on Pinterest and Instagram, choosing a theme or style for a wedding is quite daunting. After lots of research and deliberation on colour schemes, dresses and flowers they decided actually, let’s just keep it simple, pick a stunning venue and pray for a beautiful sunny day – and they were lucky!
Being such a beautiful manor house in a glorious countryside setting with lots of classic period features, they tried to keep true to this feel with their styling. They wanted their day to feel relaxed with some understated glamour, so opted for lots of greens, whites and neutral tones teamed with a touch of gold and natural woods to create a modern rustic vibe.
It was an absolute joy to capture all the beautiful memories they made this day!
The lads looked very dapper in their suits from M&S!
Laura’s beautiful wedding dress was a Maggie Sottero from Pirouette, Exeter and her shoes were from Dune.
Nicola Redman did Laura’s flawless make up and her bridesmaid Charlotte did all their lovely hair.
For their 8 tables, they used photos from each of the 8 years they’ve been together! Their gorgeous flower center pieces were from Darling Buds, who’s flowers also cascaded down their elegant naked cake by The Cake Lady.
With help from friends, they created lots of signage, a doughnut wall and their own photo booth, customising a large wooden frame that hung on a beautiful copper arch with foliage from Darling Buds.
The amazing Ellie at Darling Buds created their beautiful bouquets and the bridesmaids wore Chi Chi London.
Mammoth kept the dance floor buzzing in the evening!
Thank you Laura and Dan for choosing me as your photographer for your gorgeous wedding!
