We got the most perfect evening for our pre wedding photoshoot at Broadsands Beach & Elberry Cove. Amber & Arron are the most adorable, loving couple to photograph, I didn’t need to direct them at all. Their love just radiates from these photos!
Thanks for taking the time to read this post! I would love it if you took a minute to leave a comment below and keep in touch and up-to-date by liking my Facebook page!
Terri & Leigh absolutely rocked their pre wedding photoshoot at Broadsands Beach & Elberry Cove, Paignton. I suspect them of secretly being models! But seriously, they were amazing to work with & such a lovely couple. I’m so excited for their wedding this coming September where I’ll be working alongside some of my favourite suppliers *Hollyhocks Florist Yaaaaay!*
A pre wedding shoot is included in my main wedding package as I love to get to know my couples before their big day. Couple photoshoots are also available separately! Get in touch if you’d like more info, I’d love to hear from you.
Emma & Marc recently moved down here to Dartmouth, and friends of mine recommended me to them for an engagement photoshoot! It turns out they also know the couple who were my first ever wedding clients!
We met up for our engagement photo session at Broadsands Beach Paigton, which is fast becoming my favourite place to photograph at. It was a blast to photograph these two!

I was absolutely thrilled when Debbie Thorpe, The Mind Body Coach got in touch to create photos for her website and marketing, recommended by Virginia Compton who I had the pleasure of photographing back in February for her new website Focus Yourself.
Debbie is all about helping people shed the rubbish they are carrying around and to discover the awesomeness of their real selves. I knew from the moment I read Debbie’s first emails, I was going to love working with her!
The goal was to create natural, sunny photos with a feeling of freedom, happiness and fulfilment. As soon as I got to Broadsands Beach Torbay that evening and met Debbie, I knew we were going to create some amazing photos!
We ended the session with some red smoke grenades which were a laugh!
I always get a knot in my stomach whenever I send finished photos off to my clients, and it doesn’t go away until I know they are happy! I was jumping with joy when I received this email from Debbie after sending her photos:
“WOW WOW WOW!!!!!!! I am so totally over the moon with these photos!!!! You are such a genius!! They perfectly embody the mood/emotions I wanted to evoke! Honestly I can’t recommend you enough and I’ll be posting about it everywhere! Thank you so much!! from a bouncing around the room Debs 😀”
The photos are already looking amazing on Debbie’s Facebook page: Debbie Thorpe The Mind Body Coach which you should go check out and like!
The Redcliffe Hotel, Paington recently hosted a brilliant wedding fair. I can never resist taking some photos of the talented local suppliers tables! I highly recommend them all. It’s exciting to be in this industry among so many wonderful businesses and people!

I’d been looking forward to Helen and Matt’s wedding at the Redcliffe Hotel, Paignton for so long! I first met them back in October 2014 for a consultation. We met up again in June for their pre-wedding portrait session in Shaldon and they were great fun and awesome to photograph!
A few days before their wedding, I decided to bite the bullet and invest in a new lens that I’ve been dreaming about, the Sigma Art 1.4 35mm. Best. Decision. Ever. While the photographer is responsible for the style and quality of a photo, this lens gave me freedom and reliability to achieve the photos I wanted.
These stunning flowers are the creation of Wild Floral Designs, with Roses, Astrantia, Freesia, Daisy and Eucalyptus.
The ladies gorgeous hair styles were by Emma Newson of Shear Glamour.
Makeup was beautifully done by Tanisha from Rococo Beautiful Salon in Torquay.
Helen’s beautiful hair piece was created by The Bridal Rooms of Wellswood, Torquay.
I love how the black and whites pick out all the lace details from Helen’s Bridal Box dress.
Matt surprised Helen with a lovely vintage convertible from Squires Wedding Cars.
Chair covers and all decorations by Celebrations and Decorations.
Their super cute, 4 tier vintage wedding cake was created by Daisycakes!

Casino Select provided the evening entertainment. I won lots, then lost big, oops!
