Should we bring our dog? It’s a yes from this Wedding Photographer!

Whether it’s your pre wedding shoot or wedding day, I would be delighted if you wanted to include your dog! I often get asked if I’m happy/comfortable around dogs, which I really appreciated. The answer is a resounding yes!

With so many dog friendly venues in Devon, it’s wonderful that you can not only get married surrounded by your family and friends, but with your dog by your side too!

Just as my documentary style allows me to capture your day as it unfolds, naturally, the same goes for my approach to including your pets in your wedding photographs. What will be will be. There’s no stress in trying to make them cooperate, though I have met some very well trained dogs. Just let them be themselves and I’ll capture them in all their glory. Like Oakley, who couldn’t stop stealing Charlotte’s Louboutin.

If you do decide to include your dog(s) in your weddings, have a designated person who’s happy to look after them so you don’t have to worry. If your pet can’t be a part of your wedding, you can still include them in your day. I love to see them represented on wedding cakes! You could also book a pre wedding shoot and bring them along! Not only do you get some beautiful photos of you and them, you can use the photos as part of your venue decorations.
