It’s always a privilege to be a part of a couple’s weddings, and Nicola & Chris’s wedding has been one of my absolute favourites. Beginning with lots of emotion when Nicola’s dad saw her in her dress and Chris crying happy tears during the ceremony, photographing their pregnancy announcement (how wonderful is my job?!) and finishing the day with a buzzing dance floor with live music from the amazing Bill Ding and the Skyscrapers.
Kick back and enjoy this cosy, romantic, classic, rustic wedding at the Berry Head Hotel, Brixham!
The ladies had their hair done by The Village Salon, and makeup by Harriet Lucille. The bridesmaids charcoal grey dresses from Brides at Waterfields were chosen to compliment the belt on Nicola’s gorgeous wedding dress from Dizzie Lizzie. Nicola’s hair clip and the customised coat hangers were created by her sister Kerry! The Venue Dressing Company provided the chair covers and lovely grey sashes. They wanted to save money where I could so Nicola & Chris made the seating plan from a palette they painted grey, attaching photo frames for the plan and buckets with fresh flowers for some colour. Nicola’s dad created the log slices & wooden name holders from a tree in their garden, a lovely personal rustic touch.Their table numbers had pictures of Nicola & Chris at that age, such a cute & personal idea! They chose lemon & ivory colours for the flowers from the amazing Hollyhocks Florist which went beautifully with the grey bridesmaids dresses and chair sashes and warmed up the room.Nicola made the sweet bag favours herself and Torbay Displays provided the lovely interior decorations, which gave the room a cosy glow!Caked in Elegance created this stunning cake, which matched Nicola’s wedding dress!Bespoke Disco provided the awesome sparkly dance floor and Bill Ding and the Skyscrapers amazing music had the dance floor packed!Thank you for looking!
