I’m so excited to share with you Rachel & Lisa’s wedding on Blackpool Sands, Dartmouth. A stunning beach wedding with Bird of Paradise flowers, homemade decorations, steel pan music, hawaiian shirts, limbo and more.
I met Rachel & Lisa about 3 weeks before their wedding. Having been let down by their original photographer, I was absolutely thrilled to step in and photograph this amazing couple and their 2 part wedding, and they sure know how to plan an amazing day which you’re about to see!
It poured with rain the previous day which was their official ceremony at Cockington Court. We were all wishing for great weather and we were not disappointed! It was so warm and sunny, perfect for their Caribbean theme!
I enjoyed every minute of this day, and the portraits we did on the beach are some of my favourites from 2016. Thank you Rachel & Lisa for having me photograph your amazing Blackpool Sands Wedding!
The lovely sparkly blue bridesmaid dresses are from Debenhams and Rachels shoes are from Seasalt in Dartmouth.
Their gorgeous hair was done by friend, Rachael Milner. All these amazing decorations were self made, and the arch was made by a friend, Sarah Brooks. The order of service was made by Rachel’s brother Ian, who also conducted the ceremony.Rachel & Lisa had Steel Strum play for the ceremony and drinks reception. For favours they had a personalised stick of rocks from The Rock Company, custom bottle openers and they made the awesome place names (I still have mine on my shelf!)This beautiful seaside themed Cake was made by Rachel’s mum and sister in law, Lucy. The evenings music was provided by DJ Northey, and the dance floor was buzzing!
Thanks so much for viewing. If you’re looking for a wedding photographer, I’d love to hear from you, I’m booking 2017 & 2018!
