This wedding was SO MUCH FUN.

The photos reflect what a wonderful and entertaining wedding day Charlotte and Tim created. They capture how close and important their family and friends are. It was a joy to see and document.

I also had the pleasure of creating a beautiful album for them too, with a gorgeous pink cover to match!

I adore the reactions from Charlottes brother and partner when they see her for the first time.

Charlottes beautiful wedding dress, the bridesmaids dresses and suits were from the amazing Serenity, a bridal boutique in Newton Abbot.

The Imperial Hotel supplied the gorgeous pink chair covers and flowers.

Their daughter and flower girl was so excited to go down the aisle that she ran in!

Torbay Displays provided the wonderful decorations which lit up the room.

This amazing cake decorated with roses was made by Charlotte’s Aunty!

Charlotte and Tim had A Wizard Called Ozz go round during the wedding breakfast to entertain their friends and family. It was so much fun to capture everyones reactions!

But the entertainment didn’t end with a magician. There was also The Best Singing Waiters! They burst into song and bought the room alive with napkin waving, dancing and antics.

Local band Harbour played an amazing set.

Earlier in the year I did an amazing photoshoot with Venue & Event Stylist Hannah Taylor which was published on Wed Magazine’s Blog, and I’m delighted to share them with you here too!

Hannah styled Churston Court, a 12th Century Manor House in Brixham, with Dark Romantic, Rustic Gold & Enchanted Forest themes. Lovemuffins by Clair, a South Devon bespoke cake maker, supplied the fabulous steampunk and woodland wedding cakes and Karen Goodchild was our lovely vintage bride.

The rooms at Churston Court have lots of character which Hannah’s unique styling compliments perfectly.

Hannah’s vision and attention to detail is second to none.

The second ever email I received from Em was filled with pictures about their dream wedding; Em’s dress and shoes, the suits, the venue, flowers, table decorations and a bit about them. I just knew I had to be their photographer!

We hit it off over a hot drink when they visited from Bedford and as well as meeting them, I met Em’s lovely parents too, who have a gallery in Cockington Village and who, on the day, were wonderful and kind, and sent me home with a box of their fudge <3

Em and Joe’s love and happiness just radiate from these photos, I’m so proud to have been their photographer.Em’s beautiful Pronovias dress, which she amazingly found on eBay for a slice of the £2200 price tag, hangs with her Vivienne Westwood Ladydragon shoes and gypsophila bouquet by Alison Potts. The emerald green bridesmaids dresses are John Lewis on awesome hangers made by Em’s sister and bridesmaid, Becci.

Hair and make up was provided by the lovely ladies at Neveah Nails and Beauty in Torquay.

Joe and Jono are wearing suits are from Moss Bros with emerald green cravat and handkerchief. The groomsmen’s suits are Formally Yours with gold cravat and handkerchief.

I love this photo of Em’s parents, the way Derek looks at Lyn.And Em’s lovely grandparents, Jenny and Charlie.

Hold My Hand – Jess Glynn played as they walked down the aisle.

Em surprised Joe and his Dad, Dennis, with You’ll Never Walk Alone – Robson and Jerome as they signed the register!

Claire’s Cakes, Babbacombe, created this masterpiece of a cake with handmade sequins. I was also kindly provided with a gluten free cupcake with matching decor, thoughtful and delicious!

The wooden hearts were signed by everyone and slotted in the frame made by Apex Laser Craft, Torquay. An awesome take on the traditional guestbook.

I sat on the best table ever with these hilarious folk!

I couldn’t decide between colour, showing off the beautiful skylight, or the drama of the black and white, so here’s both!

Before the wedding, I came to the Imperial to scout out locations and sent Em a picture of this wall titled ‘I like this wall’. I’m so pleased we used it for some photos!

Doesn’t Em have the most beautiful eyes?!

Lyn and Dereks amazing fudge from The Old Granary, Cockington Gallery.Em and Joe danced their first dance to The One – Kodaline. Music and lights provided by the fab DJ Pepps Entertainment.

Em and Dereks father-daughter dance to My Girl – The Temptations was so fun and heartwarming!

For the reception, Em rocked a beautiful Vera Wang dress, with a lace added by Seams Perfect, Torquay.

You know it’s going to be a good one when the DJ plays the Macarena.And then The Time Warp!

I had been looking forward to photographing Bec and Darrens Living Coasts wedding since they booked me 19 months ago. It was well worth the wait! The ceremony, the venue, the flowers, the decorations were all perfect. Bec and Darren are so lovely, and I wish them all the best for their married life together!

The lovely venue decor and chair covers were provided by the Devon Wedding Company.All the flowers, which are absolutely gorgeous, were provided by Hollyhocks Florist in Ipplepen. The ceremony was held in Living Coasts beautiful ‘Room with a View’, providing panoramic views of the sea and wonderful natural light, a photographers dream! Though the weather was drizzly, it didn’t dampen anyone’s spirits, and we managed to pop outside to do the confetti shot, one of my favourite moments!Living Coasts awesome nautical decorations made for great photos indoors when the weather was bad. The gorgeous hair and makeup was done by Elegance Hair and Beauty in Torquay.I absolutely adored photographing Bec’s bridal portraits, fabulous lady.Another nod to Hollyhocks Florist for these amazing flowers! This delicious and fun wedding cake was supplied by Daisycakes in Torquay.Hope you enjoy looking at the photos as much as I enjoyed creating them!
